IE7 will suddenly and almost always eventually quit on it's own and throw up a message saying do you want to send data to microsoft, which I never do. Can anyone lend a suggestion? I have a good system, and I can't see why this should happen. There seems to be no pattern to this. Thanks.

Well i think its mostly a virus... If you can get the exact details of the message something can be done about it. Well i'll give you a tip... When that error pops up... hit ctrl + alt + del... in the task manager... Go to processes... the 1 on the top of the list would mostly be the 1 causing that problem. It may be generated by the virus or worm on your comp...

Might or might be a virus.
Could be Microsoft's usual coding habits while programming: They don't test thoroughly enough before shipping the products after writing the programming codes!
Have to agree with bryan here, it's probably just Windows or IE acting up for no other reason than being badly coded.
