What happened to the pull down menu that knew your email address and password automatically. Signing in for mail ievery time is a drag.

The big red Y! has the same thing. But to answer your question it is either under the arrows for hidden icons that won't fit on the toolbar or it has been removed and can be put back by doing this:
Click on the pencil icon drop-down list and choose Personal Options and then on Add/ Edit Buttons. Make your selections and don't forget to click on finished when you are done.
If you don't have the Yahoo! toolbar, click on an empty space on the standard buttons bar and click on customize.
This will take care of it for you.
