Update and run adaware, spybot s%26amp;d and spyware blaster frequently.

Get Firefox and use it as your browser:

Quit using Internet Exploder, it's got more back doors and vulnerabilities than can be counted.

Don't click "ok" on drive-by downloads when they actually pop up and ask to install themselves.
