Er, a friend of mine says that there are certain websites that he has viewed that he would like to delete from his computer. He assures me that there is nothing salubrious about these websites, he just can't get rid of them. If he goes into Google History, and tries to delete them they stay where they are. Can anyone help, er...him?

It depends on the browser he's using. Usually the Google Toolbar will attach itself to the Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers and places a folder on the hard drive. You can usually find the folder in the Program Files Directory. Just uninstall the tool bar and and delete the folder.
Here is a google clear search tip for you...click in to your google search...click the last search.....use the back arrow so the cursor is at the beginning of the word..then hold down the down arrow and at the same time press Del key till all history is gone.
and yes use the goole tool bar 4 and ff. along with ccleaner when you install it uncheck all the tic boxes except the desktop shortcut.
